Hunza – Nagar
The Hunza Valley is a beautiful valley situated in the North-Eastern part of Pakistan in Gilgit Baltistan part. It is most popular for mountainious features, transparent flows of river & stern cultural background. It is enshrined by beautiful Himalyas and the Karakoram Mountain Region.
To add on, Hunza’s beauty is complimented by the fabulous lakes, rivers and waterfalls that give it the beautiful touch of serenity. The flowing water of Attabad and the blue hue along with surrounding mountain range is a beautiful sight with the serenity of the Hunza River valley.

The valley’s Altit and Baltit Forts are the oldest structures of this region and they impart structures about the high cultural background of the area. The warm welcoming nature of the Hunzakuts, the typical warm smile and generosity seen among the natives of the valley also gives a natural warmth to the valley.
In addition, the natural points of interest include Rakaposhi View Point, Attabad Lake and Tunnel, Altit Forts, Baltit Forts, Passu Conical Lumps, Hussaini Suspension Bridge and Sost and Khunjerab Pass.
It is quite well known for its apricot orchards and thus the valley is appropriately known as The Land of Apricot Blossoms. Furthermore, it is evident that the major economy of this area is horticulture, which mainly focuses on these apricots.
